The Yanmar AW70GW is a powerful and efficient crawler-type combine harvester developed for high-speed agricultural harvesting operations. It combines harvesting, threshing, grain separation, cleaning and grain collection in a single machine, helping farmers reduce manual labour and complete harvesting work faster.
The machine is powered by Yanmar's 4TNV98-ZCNRCC Tier 3 diesel engine. The water-cooled, four-stroke, four-cylinder vertical diesel engine has a displacement of 3318 cc and produces approximately 51.5 kW / 70 PS at 2500 rpm. The engine is designed to maintain stable performance even when harvesting and threshing loads fluctuate.
The AW70GW uses a crawler-type travelling system with 500 mm wide rubber crawlers. The wide crawler design helps distribute the machine's weight over a larger ground area, reducing ground pressure and improving mobility in wet, soft and muddy agricultural fields.
Its HST transmission and hydraulic side-clutch system provide smooth and convenient machine control. Three travel-speed ranges allow the operator to select a suitable speed depending on field and harvesting conditions.
The harvesting section features a reel-and-platform header with approximately 1975 mm cutting width. A chain-driven reel helps collect standing as well as lodged crops and guides them efficiently towards the cutter and feeder section.
The AW70GW is equipped with Yanmar's axial-flow threshing system with a vertical front rotor. Crop material is initially processed by the front rotor and subsequently threshed by the main rotor. A large vibratory separator and winnowing system then separate grain from straw and impurities to help produce cleaner harvested grain with reduced loss.
The machine is equipped with a large 1030 litre grain tank, allowing longer harvesting operation before unloading is required. The unloading system provides convenient grain discharge and reduces downtime during continuous field operation.
