The YANMAR AP6 is a compact 6-row walk-behind rice transplanter developed for efficient and precise transplantation of paddy seedlings. It is designed to reduce manual labour, improve planting uniformity and increase productivity during rice cultivation. The AP6 uses a 4-cycle air-cooled OHV petrol engine and provides a maximum output of approximately 2.6 kW or 3.5 PS. Its six-row planting mechanism allows the operator to cover a wider area in each pass while maintaining approximately 300 mm row spacing.

The machine is equipped with adjustable planting depth, transplanting pitch and seedling-feed settings, enabling the operator to adapt planting according to field conditions and agronomic requirements. The brochure highlights high-accuracy planting and adjustment controls for vertical seedling feed, lateral seedling feed and planting depth. Planting depth can be adjusted through multiple stages, helping achieve more consistent seedling placement.
